Helps quickly verify how many paralley keys is required to transfer torque by shaft. Helps you pick the correct shaft diameter and parallel key length and supports you in decision if parallel key or straight-sided/involute spline should be used.
Based on provided shaft diameter program selects correct parallel key size B x H and next based on provided torque and permitted surface stress calculates key length L and if required notify that multiple keys should be used or keys should be replaced by straight-sided or involute spline.
During calculation an image is presented to user so he can see preview of selected key and shaft. Preview dynamically adjusts to input parameters provided by user and he can see changes immediatelly during calculations.
